30-day money-back guarantee. Return the system in good working condition within 30 days of the day it is delivered to you and we refund every monitoring fee you have paid. Return shipping is free.

How to return or cancel

Call (866) 743-7348 or email info@helpnow-medicalalert.com. We send you a prepaid return label. There is no cancellation fee and no contract holding you.

The part people are most often surprised by

Telling us you want to cancel does not by itself stop the monthly fee. Your service and your billing continue until we receive the system back in good working condition, or until you pay for it. Returning the equipment, or paying for it, is what ends the billing. We say this plainly because it is the single thing customers most often misunderstand, and we would rather you know it up front.

What counts as the system

  • A mobile system (Belle S, Belle X, Belle W) means the device together with its charger.
  • An at-home system (Home Link, Cellular Home Link) means the base station.

What you are never charged for

Pendants, wristband buttons and chargers are never charged for. They are the parts that get lost, worn in the shower or left in a coat pocket, and we do not think a family should get a bill for that.

If the system does not come back

A system not returned within 30 days of your cancellation request, or returned damaged beyond normal wear, is charged at $380.00 plus tax. Billing ends the day that charge is paid. A lock box that is not returned is $38.50 plus tax.

If you have the Protection Plan

With an active Help Now Protection Plan we replace equipment that is lost or accidentally damaged while your service is active, at no charge to you. The Protection Plan does not cover a system you do not return after cancelling, and it does not cover intentional damage.

The agreement governs

Your signed Help Now Medical Alert System Agreement sets out these terms in full and governs your service. This page summarises it in plain language.
